I studied at the Vredeman de Vries Art Academy in Leeuwarden and the Photography School in Apeldoorn. Since 1975 I have worked as an advertising photographer for national and international companies. I also taught Photography and Screen Printing at the Karwij Creativity Center in Drachten. I also worked as a guest lecturer at the Northern University of Applied Sciences in Leeuwarden. Exhibitions Noorderlicht Photo-festival, Outdoor exhibition Oranjewijk Leeuwarden. I am now mainly busy making free work in which I use both analog and digital recording techniques. Analogue prints include traditional Black and White darkroom prints, as well as Carbon and Kallitype prints. I work in my own studio making still lives. I also print my work myself on an Epson P7000 printer and I have an extensive darkroom.
