“ICONS REWIND”: IMMORTAL MEMORIES IN MIXED TECHNIQUE. Painting and technology, acrylic and digital, brush and touch screen. When these elements meet, it is as if time stopped, on the canvas, to tell an endless story. This is the meaning of "Icons Rewind": the faces, brands, poses that have made pop culture characters and international love brands iconic come to life thanks to the mastery of contemporary photographer and artist Stefano Sandonnini (Naj Oleari, Safilo, Cosmopolitan, Esquire ). The colors flow, overflow, around the black & white silhouette of Bono Vox and Mick Jagger, as if to stage an evocative “two-way” between pop art and action painting. A tribute that goes back to the past of Icons, just to look forward. Milan and the European Institute of Design taught me the theoretical profession and in the field, I learned what it means to be a professional in the sector alongside me as an assistant to illustrious names in photography including Fabrizio Ferri and Bob Krieger. To my professional commercial career in fashion and sport I have joined my artistic research which in this site I expose you with the projects to which I am most attached. My projects are varied, my research and my way of conceiving the beauty of an image are always evolving, distorting it with various sublimation techniques and chromatic tastes combined with almost surreal geometries and contrasts. The possibility of reinventing an almost abstract world is the main concept of my works, every vision, every place are sources of immense emotional stimulation and artistic joy.
