I am a photographer living on the countryside in the south of Sweden. I have been painting and creating mostly abstract paintings all my life but have the last couple of years found a passion for photography. I started with mainly minimalistic black&white photos but have introduced more and more color in my photography. My passion is to take photos of landscapes and seascapes from the Nordic countries. As I live in a rural part of Skåne, most of my landscape photos are taken from there. Skåne has a long beautiful coastline where I take seascape photos. I like to travel to Faroe Islands, Iceland and Norway for photography. The last year I have started to explore and photograph local woodlands which can be very challenging but interesting. A large and essential part of my work is the editing phase of the work in order to improve and express the intentional atmosphere and mood of the image. I have been awarded a number of prizes in international photo contests.
