Inspiration usually comes from classical music. While listening to the music, I close my eyes and see the colors, composition... First I make a model. It is a collage of a series of films that getting one over the other in different directions. All this is completely colorless until I direct polarized light through the model. Then each surface receives its color depending on the angle of polarization. The whole process takes hours, even days. At the end, when I get a "picture" that I imagined, I take a photo of that. Smaller photos usually I do as a C-print, and larger than one meter I use canvas because it is stronger and not crowded like paper.
