Franco Franceschi is a highly appreciated photographer both in Italy than abroad. His interests sweep from fashion to architecture; from landscape to design. Yet his images continuously possess the common characteristic of focussing on the particular without distracting from the whole. He was born in Bologna, after left university he dedicated himself to photography. He began as a travel photographer and then in the late seventies he opened the Studio Alfa Tau specialising exclusively in fashion and portraits. His fashion photography is characterised by a strong emotional impact coupled with perfect fusion between the person shot and the surrounding enviroment. Franco is fundamentally a fine art photographer and within the world of fashion he has proposed images that at times were out of line with the trends of the moment whilst still remaining elegant, sophisticated and sensual. Over his photography career, Franceschi has photographed such celebrities as Florence Guerin Actress, Mariagrazia Cucinotta Actress Oscar winner, Paolo Rossi soccer player Worl Champion, Carrol Baker Actress and a lot of famous Top Models ..... His photos have been featured in fashion, lifestyle, and cultural magazines in more than 2,500 pages and on twenty five magazine covers such as Alanaka, Amica, Anna, Cosmopolitan, Donna, Donna Moderna, Harper’s Bazaar, Interview, Lady, Landscape, Madame, Vogue… Since the turn of the Century he has ben dedicates all his time to personal research towards producing constraint-free images where he can express his mode of perceiving the world that surrounds him and the environment where he lives. At the present he is producing details of architectonic design for naval construction (especially regarding large yachts), modern Architecture, Nature. These images have been on show at 33 one-man exhibitions in Italy (Bologna, Castellina Chianti, Lilliano, Zola,), Argentina (Santiago del Estero), Bulgaria (Sofia), Denmark (Copenhagen, Hellerup), France (Grenoble, Lille), Lithuania (Vilnius, Nida), Croatia (Osijek), Nederland (Amsterdam), Slovenia (Izòla, Lubjana), Perù (Lima), Poland (Warsaw), UK (Bangor, Edimburg) and the U.S. (San Francisco). He is a very published autor (see presse release in website ) Awards: In 2004 Orvieto International Festival for his monograph on architecture from the nineteen hundreds.
