Sarah Fellner was born and raised in Vienna, Austria in 1984. She has lived in Los Angeles, California and Miami, Florida. She has studied Corporate Communications and worked in the advertisement, PR and Marketing industry, before she started her career and studies as a sociologist. Concering her artistic journey, she began to experiment with photography at an early age, first analog then digital. She had a permanent exhibiton at the Vienna Travel Gallery. Nevertheless she is a newbie to public exhibitions. She has always had an aesthetic eye, which she developed further within the advertisement and marketing industry. Besides, her mother, a painter, has taught her not only basic techniques that she can use in her way of art, but also a sense for seeing the right moments. Within her sociological studies she started to implement photography again, but in another sense. Not capturing staged situations, but rather pure and authentic moments, that offer a glimpse at people and their behaviour in specific situations. As a sociologist she observes her environment and in particular social interactions as well as artefacts that were constructed by society. Sarah has been inspired by Troy Holden, Bruce Gilden and Vladimir Milivojevich aka Boogie in the way to do streetphotography. Recently she has participated in the Light Space & Time All Women Art Exhibiton and was honored in the Special Recogintion Category for outstanding art. She usually goes with black and white to show contrasts, not only in a conceptual, but also in a topical way. .e/
