I am at an age where one starts to reflect on the important things in life. Friends, first loves, values. It’s also the moment when one makes decisions about the remaining time. One of my first interests - at the tender age of 16 years - was photography. I was given a small camera, a few rolls of film (black and white, of course) and off you go! I still have some of theses pictures and they still look good. Then Life got in the way. My work as journalist, as author of five books, and yes, as a wife claimed a lot of energy and took time away from photography. About ten years ago I decided to pick up painting to get back into visuals. After some quite successful exhibitions in Germany, Great Britain, Spain and the USA it crept up on me: my true first love PHOTOGRAPHY. Since then I never stopped.
