'Dark Shores' is a work in which I ask myself how dominant technology is within my workflow. To use a computer in creating art is still kind of new in the history of art and I am curious about how it will influence art history in general. The power of nature and technology is a dominant subject in my work as an artist. I make use of traditional techniques (painting, drawing, photography), as well new techniques (scanning, digital drawing/manipulating and printing techniques) to create a new -unique- work of art. It is hard to show the amazing quality of these prints (printed at one of the best printing companies in Europe that prints for major galleries and art museums) on a screen, but I often hear that people can hardly figure out if it is a print or painting/drawing. - Signed on the back of the print. - This work is strictly limited to only ONE print!
