""Deadly Long Legs"" Photograph

Visual artist Emma Grice graduated top of her year and obtained a BA in Art and Design (With Distinction) and a BA in Fine Art Printmaking (With Distinction) from GMIT Art College in Galway, Ireland in 2009. In 2008 Grice received the Bank of Ireland Student of the Year award and consecutively in 2009 the Allied Irish Bank Student of the Year award. Since her emergence she has blended the concerns and methods of both traditional and contemporary printmaking. Specialising in the mediums of drawing,printing,mixed media and digital imagery, Grice's work explores issues of obsession,self analysis and fears,often relating to the internal versus external struggle of the human condition. Emma has exhibited around the world including RK Burt gallery in London, the Edinburgh College of Art and the Arcenas gallery in Melbourne.Her large scale work is engaging and consistantly balances the dual purposes of visually powerful imagery and intellectually critical analysis.
