About The Artwork
'Dolomiti Storm' - 2018 This was captured in the Italian Dolomites on an expedition in 2018. After an evening hike to the peak of Seceda, a storm cloud in the distance grew nearer as night fell before suddenly erupting in an almighty thunderstorm, shooting bolts of lightening onto the surrounding mountains. This one particular storm cloud formed over the peaks of Sassolungo, growing in size before it erupted in spectacular fashion. I managed to capture a shot of this moment before having to run for cover as the lightning came ever closer. From a Limited Edition of 25, this fine art print is made on the finest Hahnemühle Photorag (308gsm) paper (with 2cm white border for easy mount framing).
