About The Artwork

Amsterdam canal, Netherlands. Houses of the Damrak seem to be subject to the age-long effect of gravity. The Damrak is a very famous spot and a typical Dutch skyline. I took the image with a long exposure of several minutes. This photo is a single edition unique fine art print. I sell it only once and will be numbered 1/1. It is provided with my signature and date on a certificate of authenticity. This image will be printed on museum quality fine art paper and delivered in a tube. I'm Frank Peters, award-winning fine art, travel and landscape photographer from The Netherlands. Winner of the International Photography Awards (IPA, New York), Fine Art Photography Awards, Tokyo International Foto Awards, ND Awards, Gold in Pano Awards and PX3 Paris.

Award-winning fine art, landscape and travel photographer. Winner of the International Photography Awards (IPA, New York) category Minimalism, Tokyo Foto Awards category Special, ND Awards Landscapes and Fine Art Photo Awards Seascapes, Gold in Pano Awards and PX3 Paris. Other awards since 2015. The fine art prints you'll find here are photos of the best moments of my journeys. I see them as unique artworks and therefore sell them only once or in extremely limited editions. The photos were made with great dedication and my own vision. To me fine art photography is the creation of tranquil, surreal moments that tell more about the photographer than just the beauty of the images reveals. My work, as far as I can judge, is mainly about creating order out of chaos, the search for balance, an escape from but still a connection with reality, and the unknown. I once wrote a poem about my work: Fine Art Photography Interpretation of a moment, that never existed until it disappeared.
