Don Hoppenbrouwer, designe and artist, studied architectural design at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. He has also a architectural training. He designs furniture, interiors, industrial products and land art in addition to his work as a designer at various architectural studio’s in the Netherlands. Paintings and photographs are an important part of his portfolio. The designs and artworks are created with different techniques such as hand sketches, Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, Indesign and Autocad. Models and prototypes were built when it is essential. The paintings are made in acrylic paint on wood panels. This year he won the first prize at the competition Folly’s at Sea with the folly Spider.
