This image was inspired by the poem below, "Flammule," from a collaborative photography book project titled, "The Cloud that Fell from the Sky." she's in the flames the fires of the night dancing and teasing surrounded by the pale moon and present through the slight crackling of the amber desire emitting reckless with danger - Phoenix Brown More about "The Cloud that Fell from the Sky" In 2015, Judy Choi, a Harvard and University of Colorado Boulder alum, discovered the poems of her 15-year old niece, Phoenix Brown. Moved by the sophistication, eloquence, and poignancy of Phoenix's writing, they both set forth to write a book in hopes of sharing their message. Phoenix's poems document the travesty of a child watching both her parents succumb to drug addiction, while Judy's writing portrays the anticipation, hope, and disappointment of love. Each poem is then interpreted into an abstract photo by award winning photographer Francis George. Designed by Mami Awamura, "The Cloud that Fell from the Sky" is a beautiful, artistic collaboration that showcases how writing and photographs can capture the rawness of the human experience and is the first installment of a three part series.
