The Flare Series layers multiple exposures to create flowing abstract compositions reminiscent of flame-like emanations in a sky-blue expanse. “Lightscapes” are post-photographic digital artworks, inspired by the futuristic neon aesthetic of Cyberpunk Science-Fiction. Photographic techniques capture illumination from artificial light sources to create vibrant, kinetic, abstract compositions. Lightscapes go beyond conventional representational photography, to explore the nexus between sensory perception and speculative imagination. Limited edition artworks are printed in vibrant 10 colour pigment ink, on metallic archival photographic paper, with a glossy 6mm clear acrylic face mount. Light is refracted by the acrylic and reflected by the metallic stock, simulating the visual effects and surface textures of futuristic urban environments.
