Photography: Digital, Ink, Algorithmic Art, Photo, Fractal on Canvas.
Meteorite or UFO illuminating the landscape.
The particularity of the fractal functions used for my Pixoplasty is that the more I visually enlarge the image more an another material, which composes the initial material, reveals itself. To avoid losing this particularity, it was necessary to print these images in large format.
Explanation about Pixoplasty : the original photographic image serves as a matrix for a study of its evocations. The scanned image, or digital, is unstructured: its original constituents, pixels, provide me a material as malleable as clay. The image is then restructured according to my feelings.
