ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Geri Halliwell of The Spice Girls came to my home in Battersea, London in May 1994 prior to her Spice Girl fame. We set out that day to capture some of our favourite TV and Film heroines of the 60's & 70's. This image was inspired by Wonder Woman and I like to think it shows the early emergence of "Ginger Spice". Shot on 35mm film and crossed processed to create a highly saturated and stylised image. Printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Semi- Matte C-type paper with a border of approx 2 inches. Limited Edition prints from Soulla Petrou's archive are embossed, numbered and signed by the photographer and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
