About The Artwork
Goddess of Shibari - So Called Freedom... This time my goal was to show non-obviousness At the first glance, the female body here is the most important. Enslaved, weak and restricted, even tortured. But Shibari - Japanese Art of constraint- involves willing members of the adventure. And here our viewpoint changes. Despite the constraints , we can see the strength and majesty of the person. We can see a goddess confident in her sexuality and beauty. That is what impresses me in many women. Their strength which is often masked by subtlety. It may sound patetic, but I admire the way they get rid off these ropes, which only block them. It’s fascinating.
