ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In spring 2019, Oliver and I were in New York to take photos of the architecture. We were fascinated by the station built by Santiago Calatrava and the new Ground Zero architecture. This photo shows the new (the station) and the old (World Financial Centre 2 by Cesar Pelli), with people and trees. The photo is full of lines -- highly graphical and of great clarity in its composition. This photo was first exhibited at the PhotoSCHWEIZ in July 2021.
