About The Artwork

'Gunwalloe #1' is one of 10 pieces that feature in the Gunwalloe collection. These pieces are formed from landscape photographs that were taken at Gunwalloe, Cornwall, England. Using digital techniques I focus on shapes and colours of the land and sea to create malfunctioning landscapes. My process involves breaking images apart until they become something new. Working with scripts and coding means the outcomes are always unpredictable and random. A limited edition of 5 are available on demand and are printed directly on to Aluminium Dibond. The print is cured under UV light, effectively protecting the image from sunlight, contaminants, and moisture. Prints will come ready to hang with aluminium rails attached to the back. Unless otherwise discussed. All prints will be numbered and signed by the artist.

Ellen Paige Leach is a New Media artist living and working in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Ellen has a BA honours degree in Fine Art from Falmouth University and works as a full-time artist. Using digital photography to document, Ellen immerses herself in the environment focusing on shape, colour and texture. Her process involves breaking images apart until they become something new. Focussing on the data that makes up the fabric of the image, she aims to highlight beauty within imperfection - a process that produces the unexpected and unpredictable.
