ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This image is from the 2022 Bird Week Australia Exhibition “Change”, Where Angela explores how nature is an inherent part of our existence. We have become separated from nature, we need to re-learn that we and all of the creatures are all part of the one earth we will ever know. Over 6 weeks Angela travelled to Canberra and spent time in the field observing, listening and photographing the now endangered Gang-Gang. Guided by a citizen scientist who has a team monitoring the small population and their nesting tree hollows. This image explores relationships, off-spring & competition for tree hollows. P.S Who can you spot in hollows? This image uses a combination of in-camera double exposures and digital post production. Professionally printed on 340gsm Hahnemuhle Photo Rag® Metallic fine art paper. Each print is signed & embossed, includes a certificate of authenticity with edition number.
