Hatsuhinode / The First Sunrise. 'Hatsuhinode' is the first sunrise of the new year. Before dawn on the 1st of january, people all over Japan gather to welcome the first sunrise of the new year. They meet on mountaintops and beaches and pray for good fortune and happiness in the coming year. This is a new Framed edition with a 12" x16" / 30 x 40 cm frame size, signed and numbered archival pigment print on fine art smooth paper.
