Producer, Director, Writer, Editor, Actor, Photographer, Cinematographer and Colorist. My mission is to create a body of work that will stand the test of time. I am a self taught, creative, enthusiastic professional filmmaker/photographer. After working on "Straight Out of Brooklyn" in 1989, I went on to make my first feature film, "Gotta Be A Better Way (1991-1994).” The film was a finalist for the Gordon Parks Film Awards for the Best Director. The film was shown at Clark Atlanta University and at the Mayfair Theatre, in Ottawa, Canada. I also worked as a special event photographer for IFP (The Independent Filmmaker Project,) photographing Spike Lee, Ed Burns, and Martin Scorsese just to name a few. My other works are, "The Poets (2000-2001)," "What's Going On (2001)," "Reparation Now (2002)," "Unsung Heroes (2007)," "To Dance In Paradise (2008)," and photo book "Eye on the Scene (2006),” "Japan (2012).” One of the photos I shot in Japan was published in “Colours of Asia (2013).” My next film, "The Girl From Harajuku (2015)" was filmed in Tokyo, Japan and Oahu, HI. A photo book, “The Girl From Harajuku” is in the process of publishing. The next film, “Black Money” is going into the production in 2015. Check out my web site for more in depth information on me at
