Here I Am Photograph

Myself, Dheeraj Kumar (Deejay) was born in a small town of Punjab State in North part of India. Since my childhood the coloured pictures and commercial sign boards always catch my attention which inspired me to have a first hand experience to express my imagination with chalk & coal on different walls, streets and my classrooms blackboards. Later on, tried my hand with sketch pen, pencils and water colours on drawing sheets & the appreciation I got from my near and dear ones pushed me to have fine arts as a subject from my school days which flourished my skills in the field of Art. I completed my Graduation in Arts from Punjab University, Chandigarh, India. During my university and after that I kept shuttling between U.K. and India to play cricket. I played for a renowned cricket club Kibworth Cricket Club, Leicester UK and helped them to win the premier league.Soon, I realized that I was neglecting my true interest i.e. painting. I started painting a lot of sketches and oil paintings and took it as a professional career. Whenever I finish a painting, it gives a lot of satisfaction and a fresh air in my veins to start a new project with a fresh zeal and passion. An Artist always goes in depth with his thoughts before putting them on canvas with a forcible approach so that if need arises to amend them with new waves of imagination so that he can come out with masterpiece of his creation. Abstract Art provides floods of opportunities & I think it is a forum from where a true artist expresses his class & maps the waves in art fraternity.
