We don’t just take pictures. We tell stories. For over 25 years, we have been capturing the human nature at its best, whether through black & white or color photography, in studio or location. Dana & Stephane Maitec have collaborated with a wide range of people and each and every image has become a part of a friendship. Our projects have always revolved around a complex and astonishing approach, showcasing a variety of artists, celebrities or regular people in a unique perspective. The vision that we both share has been reflected in every detail and every exposition presented, that takes the viewer into another world, a world where the artist gives that which belongs to the one being photographed: his self image. We have been working together as one being, an inseparable power couple both on a personal level, as well as professionally. We share together every accomplishment and achievement, preparing every single photo shoot as a team, from the birth of the idea, the creative direction for the entire message, the placement of every piece of setting, the type of lighting that has to be placed in the precise space, make-up, style and each and every post-production detail.We share our home in Paris, yet our artwork travels worldwide. We’ve specialized in artistic portraits, approach a variety of personalities from different domains from across the world, but also your day to day people. Our exhibitions have found their place in Paris, Arles, Nantes, Strassbourg, Charlemagne, Bruxelles, Bucharest, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Geneva, Rome, New York, Hong Kong as well as in numerous private collections. Our clients range from renowned personalities, artists, actors, singers, athletes, business people, politicians, etc. Stephane is the son of internationally renowned artists, sculptor Ovidiu Maitec and painter Sultana Maitec and has successfully graduated Fine Art Academy, specializing in scenography. Therefore his contribution is crucial in every detail that goes into making the perfect photo, such as finding the right setting and the essential lighting. Dana puts the final touch, with her native aesthetic sense for beauty, showcasing simplicity blended smoothly with refinement, transforming each image into a unique and mysterious story, depicted in a state of the art form.
