One of those fantastic moments that will put a smile on your face. Not a common site in the early seventies, to see a beautiful woman riding a motorbike. I am Petrus Apers, and I seek to extend the life of " Moments in time ". I have always been intrigued by the ability to preserve those fractions of time that otherwise would be lost. Those moments can have a great impact on us, and how we view or enjoy the world we live in. I was born on January 30, 1951, in a small town, called Mill, located in the south of the Netherlands. I was introduced to photography at a very young age by my father. He would take his Zeis Super Ikonta just about everywhere. After joining the Dutch Navy at a very mature age of 16, I made a friend who introduced me to the wonders and magic of the "dark room" and I was hooked. After leaving the Navy for my passion I studied photography at the academy of the arts " St Joost " in Breda, the Netherlands. In 1978 I left for New York City. I currently reside in the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico with my beautiful wife Claudia.
