About The Artwork

This “MEADOW GRASS is a limited edition 1 of 5 very large fine art 30” x 40” cyanotype print authorized by the photographer Mac. K. Miller, III. This is a closeup art photograph of meadow grass taken with an out of focus dirty white board background. This is from a series of art photographs of wild things growing near my home in the Eastern part of Texas. The cyanotype print is a beautiful addition to most rooms. This wonderful wall art print is a wonderful for a bedroom, den, office, or hall way. The Print is signed and numbered by the artist and shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is shipped in a Box. The sale of the photo does not represent a sale of the copyright. All rights remain with the photographer. This image is printed on the highest quality Fine Art Paper that has a watercolor texture that while delicate, has a feel that is almost leather like. The print is bonded to a double weight matboard so the image will not wrinkle in a frame. If you would like the same image printed on metal or canvas please feel free to contact Saatchi Art and they will get in touch with me and I can provide those things or possibly a different size to fit with your needs. The price will change as you would expect. However, the image printed on a different medium or in a different size will still count as one of the 5 Limited editions. Thank you for your interest in my work. A piece of the artist goes with each work that is produced. I am so glad that you took the time to view my work, and I thank you for your patronage. The sale of this or any of my photos does not represent a sale of the copyright. All rights remain with the photographer. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Mac K. Miller, III (M. K. M K Miller, iii is an internationally published photographer based in East Texas. Some of the notable photographic artists I have studied under include but is not limited to William Branson III, Tom Rouse, Tony Corbell, John Hartman, and Steve Kozak. These and other wonderful artists have guided me in both the nuts and bolts of the art form and the seeing of the art itself in my mind. Many photographic artist tend to see blurry or unstable images as creative. And it has worked for them. However, I tend toward the sharp clean image that is representative of something. I do step away from the sharp and clean from time to time in my portfolio, but not often. My subjects usually but not always are music, music instruments, flowers, and nature in general. My work is designed for homes, offices, businesses, schools, hospitals, and almost any building populated by people. My desire is that people are able to ‘live with” the images day in and day out and still enjoy them as they see them in the hallway, behind the desk, or on a living room wall. I was born (a long time ago) in Athens, Texas. In the sixth grade, I discovered music and have been a musician from that time. In my mid-twenties, I found myself in a US Air Force band preparing to go to Japan and a friend of my dad’s lent me an old but good camera. That was the beginning of a long relationship with photography and the visual arts. I have done weddings, commercial work, portraits, and stock photography. The past few years I have indulged myself with fine art work. When I get the opportunity to talk about my art, people ask where do you get your inspiration? All I can say is that ideas come to me. I can be working on a project and a completely un-related image will pop into my head almost complete. After I see the image in my mind, it becomes a matter of finding a way to put the lighting, models, camera, backgrounds, and other individual parts together. Thank you for your interest in my work. As an artist and a musician, I can tell you that a part of the artist always goes with each work that they produce. I am so glad that you took the time to view my work, and I thank you for your patronage.
