Gary Parker is known as one of the more versatile photographers in the US, considering the high level and breadth of his work in Advertising, Corporate and Editorial Magazines. Although Gary's early years in Photojournalism brought a Pulitzer Prize and multiple national Photographer of the Year awards, he is often asked to create major productions in the field of Animal Advertising and Packaging photography, a specialty which "just happened," Gary says, "due to the fact I never saw a dog or cat I didn't photograph - just for fun." Based near San Francisco in the heart of Silicon Valley in San Jose, CA, Gary is also well known for his highest level Corporate Photography, often working directly with famed technology executives and Fortune 500 companies on special projects. Gary's optimistic and compelling Pro Bono photography for "Little People of America" has resulted in the largest portfolio of dwarfism photography in the world. Several TV shows originated at Gary's website due to his "Familiarity breeds acceptance" mission with Little People over the past 18 years. Gary was recently the first photographer or media related individual ever named a "Honorary Lifetime Member of Little People of America." Gary considers this humanitarian award the most gratifying award of his career. Gary is also working in TV, having created and directed a feature on two of the smallest yet most extraordinary human beings on the planet. Negotiations with two major networks are presently taking place. Gary is an obsessed photographer who lives his work as a lifestyle with a remarkable level of enthusiasm and "can-do spirit."
