This piece is part of a larger collection entitled "Ides," and takes its title from the date of capture. As the pandemic closed New York City, I took to wandering the silent beautiful streets, looking for transcendent moments in the urban environment around me. The work celebrates the transformative quality of light and shadow on even the most quotidian of subjects. This image was exhibited at the Michael Foley Gallery in Manhattan, July 2020. This image is limited to an edition run of five at this size, signed and dated, printed on archival fine-art photographic paper. Open edition prints are available in other size options.
