Motion #078 Photograph - Limited Edition of 10

I was born in Italy in 1972 and live between the provinces of Milan, Como and Varese. When I was a child I played with my father's camera, but my real passion was drawing. During my graphic design studies an interest in photography matured, and from those days the camera has always been with me. Photography, before it became a job, was a passion. I used to photograph only with black and white film, spending entire days in the darkroom waiting for the long processes of developing and printing to reveal the moment of time I had captured. I consumed the books of some photographers I loved, studying their images, trying to grasp their magic. The long collaboration with my friend and teacher Franco Canziani, allowed me to discover the reading of forms through light. I observe what surrounds me, through the limits of photographic vison, imagining the infinite possibilities that can influence the photograph I have not yet taken. Photography is an irresistible alteration, a drug I cannot do without.
