ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I have been in New York CIty in 2012 and this is one of several visions I got with me when i came back to Italy: New York is like a band playing blues or jazz music and the buildings looks like characters. So I manipulated several images to explore the infinite variety of reflections, lines, shapes to be recalled while you will exit from the dream you have just confused with the reality. By the way, these compositions are inspired by the pop art, the minimalism, the contemporary style and certain photography trends of the '70. I like to print these artworks on aluminium, that's the perfect support for the colors and the shapes.
