Born in Miercurea Ciuc, Romania, 16.03.1981.

Yet, through my works of art, I try to emphasize that we are actually captive in an artificial world whose limits we miss, just like we totally miss its control - which, finally, is not very troublesome, but that something, which we unfortunately cannot control any longer, and we should be able to, in a system of options freely agreed upon, is our own becoming, our own behaviour, our own choices. Thus I express an expressionist vision with existential implications, by means of a language with neo-pop allusions, accessible, I hope, to a larger audience. We found the same threat of urbanism, fashion and artificiality expressed with the support of the show-cases in front of which there was, floating at a loss, a crowd of souls, in the first stage of expressionism (Ernst Ludwig Kirchner). This time the accent is on the iconic force of the show-case and on the premises of its idolatrization (The Show-Case, Pompea). The effects are only implied, the victims, invisible in my works, of this idolatry are we, each independently, therefore subjects of a manipulation well-conducted in the harmful concert of a prophane religion whose reverse perspective derives from the sacralization of hedonism. That is why I would like my critical attitude to be both as legible as possible, and finally therapeutic. Legible since I take the photos of the show cases, which are familiar frames, from reality, in order to prepare them by means of these virtual collages, thus I would define them as less harmful counterfeits when related to reality. What I propose here aims to be a composition formula with more filters of interpretation, a labyrinth-like melting pot with a catharctic value in which I involve the processing of these cliches with the support of the computer (a kind of terarium with fetishes), a transformation which sometimes drives to the radical change of these photos, to which I subsequently add, as a final touch, the pigment interventions, which complete and reconsider certain details semantically.
