Northern Horizons No.4 is shot during the nightless night in front of Helsinki 20-21.6.2022 Islands. Northern series follow a short moment in time from one twilight to another. All The Horizons are part of "The Painter of the Horizons" concept. This concept comes from a Finnish idiom, phrase "Taivaanrannan Maalari". It is about a person who is daydreaming his/hers life away. The idea of turning this phrase into art photography came to me in the south & west archipelago of Finland in 2020. I tried to capture the most beautiful light known to me into dreamscapes, horizontal views into vertical experiences of northern light. Southern Horizons in Helsinki are full of hope, open horizons. Impressionist nearly abstract sometimes. Northern Horizons are dramatic, more expressionist. Impressionists, Rothko..painters as such have influenced me in my art photography.
