Art photographer Evgeny Maklakov`s work is based on the idea that Impulse is the source of life and creativity. He is in search of a miracle in the ordinary and for more than 2 years he has been striving to capture and record this Miracle with the help of his camera. An avid traveler by calling and an architect by profession, he began his journey as a photographer in 2022 with the discovery of the Canary Islands, where he felt the true energy and learned the way how deep light transforms people arriving in the archipelago. He studied photography in the workshop of the famous Russian photographer Igor Brekhov, with whom he continues to collaborate, they became friends. He participated in an expedition to humpback whales on the Tonga Islands as part of the Charyse photography team Schark, Natalie Karpushenko, Rob Owen and Chloe Cryan. For more than 2 years he has been participating in different photo and art competitions, publications of his work are presented in the media and social networks, he creates designer art spaces and participates in social business projects. His works are in private collections in Russia, the USA and Greece.
