Pixel Mountain - Limited Edition 1 of 10 Photograph

IMAGE COLLECTOR, VISUAL ARTIST and ARCHITECT. As a practicing architect, I have been trained to see with an eye for the beauty that surrounds us in the everyday man-made world and in nature. My goal in collecting and combining images is to find new ways to enhance what I’ve seen and photographed, and bring the art form of photography to a new level. All my photo manipulation work is done on my iPhone 8 using images taken with my Sony A6000 digital mirror less camera and the iPhone. Most often I use the apps on my phone to get the final images that you see here. Some are carefully planned, and others are serendipitous combinations that just feel right. All my work is available on Hahnemuhle fine art paper which gives the images more of a painterly quality. I have also printed photos on brushed aluminum which affords the right photos another level of interest. I thoroughly enjoy this creative endeavor, and many of my images are already in private collections across the country. I look forward pursuing this second career in the arts, and enabling more collectors to enjoy my work. As a resident of New York City, I take full advantage of all this great metropolis has to offer. I have a background in studio arts and have taken multiple painting, watercolor, photography and multi-media courses at University of Rochester, RIT, NY Art Students League, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, SUNY Purchase, and the New School.
