This image was awarded in the International Photography Awards (New York), Fine Art Photography Awards (London), Minimalist Photography Awards, Monovisions Photography Awards, International ND Awards, Tokyo International Foto Awards and the Monochrome Photography Awards. The image was made with a slow shutter speed along the Markermeer where some poles (used for fishing) arise above the water. Besides photographer I'm also a poet. Sometimes they reinforce each other. About my minimalistic photographic series of Dutch scenery I wrote a minimalist poem on the underlying idea of what fine art photography means to me: Fine art photography Interpretation of a moment that never existed before it disappeared.
