This product is fully finalized, framed and Dibond mounted art piece. Photography: Color and Digital on Paper Size: 70x46,6cm X2,5cm (the size correlates to realistic human measurements) Printed on 100% cotton Canson Infinity Edition Etching Rag 310gsm fine art paper, then mounted on aluminium composite Dibond, which is highest museum grade presentation quality available. There is no glass, so the paper retains it’s original texture to the viewer, and while is covered with invisible protective surface, looking more like a painting. The Dibond mounted print is then presented in a thin wooden black floating frame, an visual layout that applies to most common museum standards. Works well with the rest of Porcelain China series in artist’s collection: Signed and numbered on back. Limited edition Giclée print 1 of 25. ABOUT THE SERIES: Porcelain China by Iris Kivisalu presents the artist’s take on abstract beauty, sensory systems and expressionistic photography, what draws it’s core from classic film photography more than anything. Porcelain China is about stillness, movement, imperfection, feeling - 10 painting like portraits transform the subject into from mere humans into unreal (and ideal). Texture, surface, seeing, believing, dreaming, escaping - it’s difficult to summarise the content without pointing to the thoughtful melancholic mood that emanates from the series. Her work can mostly be described by a very strong orientation to details through a timeless approach. “I’ve never liked to present straight guidelines for reading my material, it’s important that the viewer’s senses will start painting with the canvas I’ve presented. It’s never about pleasing the mind with simple esthetics, it’s more about layering.” In 2018 Porcelain China series was also published in iGNANT, the biggest award-winning online platform featuring the finest in contemporary art and partial usage rights bought by Huawei, largest telecommunications equipment manufacturer in the world.
