This piece is a part of the Horizons series, 2019. Horizons, is a collection of landscape photographs that explores the threshold between minimal abstraction and realism. Despite the lack of clarity, a few recognizable details tether each scene in reality. The most recognizable of these details is the horizon line, which remains a stable constant across each piece. The Port O'Connor pieces were created in Port O'Connor, Texas looking out onto the gulf at sunrise.
