Photographer Film Maker Digital Artist Edgy Often Fatale Imagery From the Femme to Poplife. Sublime and at Times Quirky In Its Sexuality. Born of the cultures of Hawaii and the Philippines. An island boy at heart who loves the ocean and sun grew up his early years in the island of Oahu. Born to hop the world, his hunger for travel would bring him to places that would mold his photography and addiction for all things beautiful. Living in cities that at those times were going through cultural and artistic upheaval New Orleans in the mid nineties Los Angeles and New York in the later. Johnny Sunday or bunny as his friends affectionately call him would decide on Miami Beach. In 2000 friend and close mentor Douglas Voisin advised and guided him towards his passion of film and photography. To take what he saw his eye for finding the beauty in anything, be it a moment a person or to transoform an object or a frame of time and find the sublime sexual and humor in all these subjects. His interest in Photography and Art soon guided him into Film and the art of storytelling through editing. On the advice of another great friend and film mentor TG Herrington, Johnny studied and persued the art of editing working under TG in his Lucha Libre Studies in Santa Monica Ca. A promoter of Canon Cameras and stout lover of Apple coaxed him into spreading his love for art and photography by being both instructor creative for Apple inc. Leading various level workshops in photography and editing for both intermediate and pro level enthusiasts he shared his love for the capture and movement of frames. Currently he now shoots what pleases him at the moment. This site is a culmination of work that represents his current mantra "to find beauty and sexuality in the everyday" He currently now has started Indieventfilms with his longtime friend and mentor Douglas Voisin in an effort to bring handcrafted films of substance to the Wedding or Lifestyle Event genre. Recent past accolades include awards and honorable mention from 24hour film festival of Miami. His works have been shown in Nola Art Festival, L.A.M.A. , Chateu Gallery , Philiadelphia Modem Photographic Festival.
