Title: RIOT Series: Urban Fairy Tales Medium: Chromaluxe HD aluminum print for a luminous, high-gloss finish that enhances the vivid colors and sharp details. Available as a limited edition print. Edition: 80x120 cm / 31.5 x 47.2 in (Edition of 5 + 2 AP) Each print is signed on the back to maintain the clean aesthetic of the artwork, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Description: A polar bear from the Arctic and penguins from Antarctica find themselves in a Western metropolis, far from their natural environment. Have they strayed by accident, or are they here to mark their discontent with the state of the world? The polar bear, with an air of fury, roams through graffiti-filled walls of an empty garage, searching for something. Is it looking for a human to address its grievances? Or, driven by its hypercarnivorous instincts, is it hunting, an embodiment of the chaos caused by human impact on the environment? RIOT confronts the viewer with a juxtaposition of wildlife and urban decay, provoking questions about the consequences of climate change, urbanization, and humanity’s disconnection from nature.
