This piece is part of the 'Safe Arbor' series of the Symmetree Oak project. Safe Arbor refers to our desire to have a place we can each call home. The tree in the landscape is seen as a shelter or port in a storm.

The Symmetree Oak is an on-going project exploring different facets of a single beautiful oak tree in Kent, England.

Like many of the pieces it comprises of multiple exposures, each overlaid. With each piece I look to recreate moments spent around the tree, often spellbound by the quality of light.

It is an archival print set in resin with tine leaf and has a frame with a unique graphite paste finish.
