Shiprock, New Mexico. Shiprock is actually the remnants of the throat of a volcano that was windswept away over many years. Wall-like sheets of minette, known as dikes, form the "dragon tails" that emanate from core. The formation is believed to be 27 millions years old and sits on sacred Navajo land.

Dana Neibert (b. 1972) is an artist based in Coronado, California whose photographic work is routinely commissioned by American Express, Barclays, Bristol-Myers, Chevrolet, Four Seasons, General Motors, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, Pfizer, United Way, among others. Neibert has great diversity in his work and a unique point of view in his style of photography. He has balance within his structured compositions juxtaposed with very authentic, relatable moments. His subjects are relaxed as if these were his own personal moments. His landscapes are breathtakingly grand and pull you in as if you were there. Highly influenced by painters such as Richard Diebenkorn, Wayne Thiebaud, Mark Rothko and Edward Hopper, Neibert's work follows suit with simple but striking compositions and often becoming graphic in nature. Neibert was trained as a graphic designer by some of the world's most elite graphic designers at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco, California.
