Sergei Kozlovskii was born into the lineage of the Manizer dynasty, a family of hereditary sculptor-artists. He is a professional photographer since 2005, a participant in different international photographic projects and exhibitions. Over the last three years, he has dedicated himself to the technique of ambrotype, wet plate collodion photography, an early photographic process known since 1851. In his creations, Sergey merges present-day reality with the ancient technology of the turn of the century. By shooting on glass plates, he ensures each photograph is a unique artifact that defies duplication or alteration. It represents the epitome of analog photography in our digital age. Well known for his series such as ‘Decadence. The Unrevealed’, ‘Angels. Montenegro’ and others.
