Limited Edition Giclée Print. Paper: Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta, printed with 5cm white border. Signed on the front, signed Certificate of Authenticity is included. In "The Temptation of Anthony," I delve into the timeless themes of inner struggle and liberation, presented through a surreal and enigmatic composition. Inspired by the legendary tale of Saint Anthony's temptation in the Egyptian desert, my artwork invites viewers to explore introspection and contemplation. My fascination with the human psyche and the universal experience of grappling with inner demons inspired this work. Drawing upon the rich symbolism of the Saint Anthony legend, I aim to evoke mystery and intrigue, encouraging viewers to delve into their own consciousness. Through photography and the use of Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Baryta paper, I enhance the ethereal quality of the image, creating a dreamlike atmosphere that blurs reality and illusion. The surface texture and inkjet coating accentuate details and colors, captivating the viewer's attention. With "The Temptation of Anthony," I hope to prompt reflection on the complexities of the human condition and the search for spiritual enlightenment. By choosing a surreal and symbolic approach, I invite viewers to interpret the artwork through their own unique perspectives. We use pigmented inks and museum quality archival paper for the print (giclée print technology) - it means the light stability of the colors are more than 100 years, in compliance with Wilhelm Imaging Research. You will receive the print rolled in a tube, mounting and/or framing is required.

Peter Zelei is a Hungarian visual artist who specializes in portrait, conceptual imagery, landscapes and also photo manipulations. From his use of colour and surreality, he creates a reality found only in his imagination, but with an emotion that is undeniably human. He explores the divide between darkness and light, unafraid to explore themes that others may find uncomfortable. His work evokes a connection from the viewer, a feeling of oneness of the human experience and a mystery that will leave you wondering how the story will unfold. He exposes the rawness, surreality, mysticism and yet also poetry of his surroundings. His photographs and photo manipulations are created within an immense subtleness and ease. They take the observer on a journey into the most intimate realms of the human experience. Tina Lorien (Gallerie Lorien)
