About The Artwork
This project started in 2015 by sifting through my archives paying attention to the film leaders, where you pull out the strip to load a 35mm camera. Experimenting with these negative strips yielded a series of celluloid “landscapes.” These abstracts composed of vibrant colors resemble a sunset.
