This piece delves into the interplay between Photography and the Body as a sculptural form, utilizing black and white to create artwork that approaches abstraction. I enjoy experimenting with different techniques and lighting, and my work often focuses on body art, nature, and still life. My artwork emerges from a need to use the body as a form of therapy and a way to overcome uneasiness with body image. When I find myself in conflict with my body image and how I feel in general, photography becomes a form of expression that helps me overcome this state of mind. This uneasiness transforms when I set up the light and the camera. I hope my artwork can also inspire and help others to feel better and create their own artwork when they experience similar feelings. This photograph is part of a series titled 'The Lonely Body,' where I transform the female form into an idealized, symbolic, and poetic vessel of expression. Each shot is a meticulously captured masterpiece, created in various captivating cities around the globe. I am deeply fascinated by the human body, its movement in space, and the interplay with light. My aim is to create images that offer multiple perspectives and interpretations. This particular shot was taken using natural light, without any flashes or studio lighting systems.

Italian artist based currently in London. Her artistic practice investigates and questions the persuasive power of the image and of the visual language. Her body of work incorporates intimate yet universal experiences such as loneliness, abandonment, fear for emotional nakedness and failure. In touching on these topics, she aims to create a collision between opposite languages: the unreal and the imaginary, the document and the oneiric, the personal memory and the collective, aiming to trigger reactions by invoking primal and visceral emotions. She employs the photographic medium to create visual access to the many different readings of existence. Her work often addresses elements of sexuality, mysticism, body language and nature, to create a tense narrative that provokes and relives at the same time.
