The Penguin Pool Photograph

I am 38 and a mother, currently freelancing and working on a selection of private creative photography, In my early years i studied Art & Design at Reigate School of Art & Design (RSAD) covering a whole range of genre, from textiles to fine art, including photography, although this is not an area i pursued at the time. After my daughter was born photography suddenly played a big part in my life although it took a few years before it dawned on me how much i love it. Once it did i took a leap of faith and applied for a studio assistance job at Life Studios in Bromley, armed with my amateur portfolio and no experience it was amazing to find out that i had been successful and i had also competed against applicants with photography degree's. I gained some great experience and this pushed me to learn more. I went on to study photography gaining a distinction, BTEC level 2 two years ago, i have gone on to build a strong creative portfolio and a small database of private and corporate clients.
