About The Artwork

Record done in Salvador, a trip to connect with my origins. My family is from Salvador, and Salvador is the blackest city outside of Africa. The beaches of Salvador are of the same current as the waters of Africa, in those same waters I felt an enormous spiritual peace. Colors and texture of the sea inspired by Starry Night Over the Rhône painting Van Gogh. Fine art made with Hahnemühle PhotoRag Ultra Smooth museum photographic paper 305 gsm 100% cotton. Just like our skin the sea turns golden when kissed by the sun.

I am a black visual artist from the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro. In my art I prioritize black bodies and I have African inspiration and my ancestry. Using various photographic techniques, prints made by me have a frame and paper chosen specifically for each art. The focus of my work is black culture, exploring my African roots from an Afro-Brazilian perspective and culture. In my social networks there are other arts of mine and are available for sale. For impressions made by me, please contact us.
