In February 2018 the complete series THE WEAVER (6 images) has been nominated as FINALIST of the ART OF ENGINEERING award by Ferchau Engineering. * * * THE WEAVER is a new, so far unpublished series that we produced a few weeks ago during one of our artist residencies in India in cooperation with the Raj Art Initiative. The Raj Group is on of the oldest weaving factories in Panipat, north India. For us, the processes of machine production symbolise the pre digital age in a fascinating way.
