What is not visible behind the railing, because it could not be seen. Fog hung over the sea and it was raining down. Cold pierced the body. Nobody was walking on the pier in Międzyzdroje. Railings, lanterns and puddles around them formed a harmonious whole. They were just themselves. *** Limited edition of 1 piece of photography sold with a negative, framed in a passepartout and frame, signed by the author. It was May 1978, my first Holy Communion and a gift that I received then ... Smiena 8M - Soviet camera for 35mm film. For several years it was lying in a cupboard until one of my friends showed me the first photographs he had taken in primary school. These were photos taken under an enlarger in the darkroom from a school trip. It was like a spark that started a fire. I can do that too! Then it all started. Smiena 8M, 35mm films by ORWO and the first fascinating moment in the darkroom with a red light bulb. I will never forget those moments when a picture appears out of nowhere. Happiness, the inner joy of a child accompanying this process left a mark on my psyche, which is with me until today. At that time, I felt and still feel a metaphysical bond with Daguerre and Niépce, the fathers of photography. I've been with this feeling for over 35 years. The original fascination is with me all the time, only the cameras have changed.
