The link between the screen and the physical. The eternally revolving 2D/3D flip-flop. Flatness and fullness blur together in a melange stretching to and fro across computerized and physical space. A computer file transforms into printed matter within the gallery space, only to be then thrust back into the flatlands via documentation. Images generated inside the machine – extrusions, drop shadows - are pulled into the room in which you stand. The resulting structures are dumb new relics waiting to be thrown back into the screen by the transformative action of your camera.
